The recent release of Ephesoft Transact 4.5 includes more than 220 new features, integrations, enhancements and updates. There is a lot of focus on machine learning technology users are especially excited about. Join Zia Consulting EVP and Capture Practice Lead, Pat Myers, for this presentation as he reviews what's new and what our four favorite features are in this version of Ephesoft. - Browser-Based Architecture A thin client architecture for Windows and Linux environments allows for a fully customizable and scalable platform. Comprehensive Extraction Works with structured and unstructured documents in numerous formats with as little as one sample of each document type. - 1 Many companies are still using off share or the LOB users to have to classify and index document. Can also use capture to drive the business process (for example – know that you have all the documents you need for a loan process before it gets to an underwriter) 2 Use machine time to do the document intact process and indexing 3 Speed up the laborious process while operators perform
- 1) 4.1 had some scenarios where the extraction was not working as expected. A lot of work has been done in 4.5 to improve that extraction. 2) 4.1 has some performance degradation as more rules were created. 3) In 4.1 all extraction rules were kept in a serialized file with no insight on the contents for configuration management (discuss configuration management). Now with text, JSON files, changes from one environment to another can be compared. Discuss more on next slide 4) 4.1 introduced field machine learning and now with 4.5 also introduces a similar capability with table extraction
