2.  The purpuse about this exercise is talking about the
weather. We can say a lot of things about the weather.

3. What’s the difference between
weather and climate.
 Weather: The state of the atmosphere at a
particular place and time as regards heat,
cloudiness, dryness, sunshine, wind, rain, etc.
Example: ‘if the weather's good we can go
for a walk’
 Climate: The weather conditions prevailing in an
area in general or over a long period.
 Example: ‘our cold, wet climate’
 mass noun ‘agricultural development is constrained by climate’

 We are on (Monday).
 Today Is (13th of July 2017.)
 The weather today is (extremely hot.)
 The temperature is about (40º) centigrades.
 We are in (Zaragoza (Spain).)
 There are (no clouds.)
 The sun is shining.

weather?
 Is it (hot) in (summer), isn’t it?

 Expressions: We can expect….(thunder and
lighting)throughouth (the evening)
 Even further to the (west) in (Zaragoza) the
wind is very strong. We call it ‘cierzo’.

 In the West there are no clouds and the sun is
shining.
 In the South it’s extremely hot.
 In the West it’s partly cloudy and it’s raining.
 In the centre it’s foggy.

and the weather it’s very cold. The temperature is below 0ºC.
