Result of a classroom challenge: make a state advertising campaign about some of the class’s freedom heroes. One of the aims was to bring our spirit up in a time of difficulties. As our heroes, we should never give up.

1. Joan of Arc
She was young.
She believed.
She fought.
Why can’t you?
Born in the Middle Ages, Joan of Arc is a crucial figure in French
history. At the age of 17 she was the youngest person to ever com-
mand an army of a nation and, in only a few months, managed to
change the outcome of the Hundred Years' War (1337-1453), held
between France and England. Adding her brilliant victories to all of
her all-correct prophetic ability, her devotion to God and commit-
ment to purity - that made her into a saint -, her story can only be
described as incredible.
