the CMU and the MGC. The measure object is the VMGW.
6.2 Context Management Statistics
This task is used to measure context handling conditions of the MGW under the control of the
MGC. The measure object is the VMGW.
6.3 Number of Terminations Occupied by Context
This task is used to measure termination occupation in the MGW under the control of the MGC.
The terminations include IP terminations, ATM terminations, and TDM terminations. The
measure object is the VMGW.
6.4 Number of Resources Occupied by Context of the CMU Board
This task is used to measure the resource usage of the MGW under the control of the MGC. The
resources refer to the channels used for codec conversion, rate adaptation, announcement, audio
mixing, echo cancellation, and channels used by data services. These channels include the
transcoder (TC), echo cancellation (EC), and audio mixing resources. The measure object is the
VMGW.
6.5 Conference Call Statistics
This task is used to count successful conference calls. The measure object is the VMGW.

Result = Total number of other successfully released contexts
6.3 Number of Terminations Occupied by Context
This task is used to measure termination occupation in the MGW under the control of the MGC.
The terminations include IP terminations, ATM terminations, and TDM terminations. The
measure object is the VMGW.
6.3.1 Occupied Peak of IP Termination
6.3.2 Occupied Average of IP Termination
6.3.3 Occupied Peak of ATM Termination
6.3.4 Occupied Average of ATM Termination
6.3.5 Occupied Peak of TDM Termination
6.3.6 Occupied Average of TDM Termination
6.3.1 Occupied Peak of IP Termination
Description
This item refers to the maximum number of occupied IP terminations generated by the VMGW
under the control of the MSC server in a measurement period.

Measurement Point
The VMGW adds and deletes terminations under the control of the MSC server. The CMU
updates the number of occupied IP terminations when IP terminations are added or deleted. The
MGW counts the maximum number of IP terminations in the measurement period. The statistics
can be used to estimate the usage of IP terminations.

Description
This item refers to the maximum number of occupied ATM terminations generated by the

The VMGW adds and deletes terminations under the control of the MSC server. The CMU
updates the number of occupied ATM terminations when adding and releasing ATM
terminations. The MGW counts the maximum number of occupied ATM terminations in the
