• A cockentrice is the upper part
of a baked chicken sewn to the
lower part of a roasted pig.
• There were three religious feast days:
-Epiphany on Jan. 6th
-Candelmas on Feb. 2nd
-Whitsunday on May 3rd
• Samon belly, Roast porpoise, and baked
herring with suger were common dishes
served at religious events
3. Hygiene ;D
Women of high class would pluck
their forehead in weird ways
• People would not shower because
they believed that clean clothes
and linens were accepted
• Ladies would avoid suntans because they
believed that tans were for peasant
women
