Sentence
Definition:-
A group of words that express a
statement, questions, commands, or wish.
Sentence usually contain subject, object and
verbs.in written English the first word of a
sentence is capital and sentence end with full
stop.
Example:-
1. You come.
2. The girl cried.
3. America is a rich country.
4. The boy ran into the bedroom.
5. Some student likes to study in the dream.
Mary plays tennis.

• A simple sentence has one subject and one
predicate.
• A simple sentence is a group of words that
forms a complete though. Simple sentence
are different from other sentences.
We went to Islamabad yesterday.

• A complex sentence is a sentence that
combines one independent clause with at
least one dependent clause. A clause is a
group of words that has both a subject and a
verb.
• An independent clause forms a complete
thought.
• A dependent clause, also called
a subordinating clause, does not form a
complete thought and is dependent upon an
independent clause for meaning.
Since we wanted to have fun,
we went to Lahore yesterday.

• This type of sentence has more than one part that
can stand alone, and at least one that cannot.
• Conjunctions link the different parts of this
sentence.

An exclamatory sentence is sentence that
is said with strong feeling or emotions.
(always ends with an exclamation mark)
