3. We Learn Some Things
That God Hates!
• “These six things doth the LORD hate: yea,
seven are an abomination unto him: A proud
look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed
innocent blood…” Prov. 6:16-17
• Hands that shed innocent blood… Are you
guilty of this sin? Murder
– God said, You shall not murder. Exodus 20:13
– God will require your blood if you murder.

4. Why Obey God?

• Why not murder? God said not to.
– It is an abomination – a sin! 1 Jn. 3:4; 5:17
– Sin pays you eternal punishment!

5. Abortion is Murder
Proverbs 6:17
• Certainly the unborn are innocent.
– “See, this alone I found, that God made man
upright, but they have sought out many

– They have done neither good nor bad.

6. Abortion is Sinful
• It de-values human life. Gen. 1:26-28, 31
• It takes a reward for slaying an innocent

7. Strive To Protect The Innocent!
• God would have us do what is right.
