The Internet of Things is here, and buildings are becoming smart, so we must rethink our relationships with objects. Connected devices are cool, but they aren't a strategy. You must consider your users, their goals, what you're going to do with the data, who's going to own the data, and have expertise with connected device trends. This talk was given at the AGC IT Forum 2015 on July 30th at the Loews Hotel in Chicago, IL.
