Media within a single piece of media work.

A prime example of this would be the combination of video
game technology with television, giving people the ability to
transform their television sets into a platform for displaying
games as well as television shows.

of cultures and mediums such as Cinema and Television with
new online social media such as YouTube and Dailymotion.
This type of convergence in particular has enabled the once
audience to become the user and producer.

of media at any given point. This has become more popular
with the improved accessibility of different types of media,
especially that of new media.

writing an email to friends and watching football on the
television at the same time.
