stem implant was a
delicate surgery
that required the
work of a Head &
Neck surgeon and a
Neurosurgeon.
Grayson had two
of UNC’s best –
Drs. Craig
Buchman and
Matthew Ewend.
15. Grayson is beginning
to understand that
sound is meaningful.
He is pairing sound
with visual information
and using it for
communication.
16. He is also beginning to
understand phrases
and words.
17. Grayson is a master at saying, “bye-bye.”
