Daxter By Sarah Caughey
Gender and Gender Behaviour Male The dream sequences in the game all depict Daxter as a very macho character, like brave heart and a Viking. Very confident with the ladies
Stance and posture Nonchalant, confident, stands very straight, holds his weapon up high. Most of the time he has his chest puffed out. Neck is usually up high, maybe to make himself seem taller.
Kinaesthetic Usually Daxter moves fairly ‘jumpily’ bouncing a lot as he takes steps, he usually walks on two legs (humanoid) except when he is crawling when he goes down on all fours, and appears to try and completely flatten himself and get as close to the ground as he can.
Facial expressions Daxter seems to have a fairly expressive face, with fairly extreme expressions, almost cartoonish.
Voice Daxter has a kind of squeaky voice, one that is very hard to take seriously, which isn’t helped by the fact that his tone of voice is usually either joking or sarcastic. He has an American accent
Proxemics In the psp game Daxter doesn’t seem to get close to anyone, even the girl he is slightly interested in. In previous games Daxter got closer to his love interest Tess, and used to ride around on his Best Friend (Jak’s) shoulder, however when Jak is in the PSP Daxter game Daxter doesn’t ride around on his shoulder.
Clothing Daxters clothing almost looks steampunk, especially the goggles and the leather straps across his chest.
