PETTY OFFICER SELECTEE LEADERSHIP COURSE CHANGES
SDAP Applications are due to PERS-811 by 31 August. If you have submitted your SDAP re-cert prior to 6
August 13, please email PSC(SW/AW) Marie Bates at marie.bates@navy.mil. Put the command UIC, your
NAME w/rank, and phone number in the Subject Line. She has received several emails that she cannot open
due to invalid signature certificates. Without your contact information, she cannot reply to the email.
SDAP DEADLINE RAPIDLY APPROACHING
NAVADMIN 207/13 announced the addition of SAPR and Combat/Operational Stress Control Training into the
Petty Officer Selectee Leadership Course. The specific courses affected are the Petty Officer Selectee
Leadership Course CIN# CPPD-LEAD09-001, Petty Officer Second Class Selectee Leadership Course CIN#
CPPD-LEAD09-002, and Petty Officer First Class Selectee Leadership Course CIN# CPPD-LEAD09-003. The
new course content is posted on NKO, select the "Leadership" tab, then specific course (POSLC, PO2SLC, and
PO1SLC), go to the right hand column course content block and select the "changes" folder. Commands
should download the new modules and follow the directions in the change letters to properly integrate the
material into the existing printed leadership course materials or download the complete course with the

PASS TRANSFER UPDATE
Effective 1 October, daily management and operational control of the worldwide network of 66 Personnel
Support Detachments (PSD) and Customer Service Desks (CSD) will transfer from Commander, Navy
Installations Command to Commander, Navy Personnel Command. PSD/CSDs will continue to ensure timely
and accurate pay, personnel, and passenger transportation services to our active and reserve Sailors and
their families. The role of the Command PASS Coordinator (CPC) serves as a critical link between the
supported command and the PSD/CSD. CPC Resources, available on the NPC web site, provide important
information including MILPERSMAN 1000-021. PSD/CSD officers-in-charge and civilian directors will remain
the primary points of contact for resolution of personnel service delivery issues.
PACT QUOTAS FOR AUGUST
The ratings projected to have the greatest opportunity for approval for eligible Professional Apprentice Career
Track (PACT) Sailors applying for a rating in August are Aviation Boatswain's Mate Equipment, Aviation
Boatswain's Mate Fuel, Aviation Boatswain's Mate Handling, Aviation Ordnanceman, Damage Controlman,
Electrician's Mate, Engineman, Culinary Specialist (SRB Available), Operations Specialist and Boatswain's
Mate. Encourage your PACT Sailors to think about the above ratings! Questions concerning Career
