1. FORCE 14 – 7 June 2013
From the Desk of the Reserve FORCE Master Chief:
Greeting Shipmates, just a few notes that I wish to share with you this week, first
is to cover what MCPON Steven’s calls “Zeroing in on Excellence”. This concept
sounds simple but in reality it requires constant action on our part.
The three elements he cites to help us zero in are: Developing Leaders, Good
Order and Discipline and Controlling what you Own. If we practice these and then
share them with those within our circle of influence we all can “Zero in on
Excellence”.
The second item to discuss is Sexual Assaults. Let’s be clear on this, Sexual
Assault is a crime, and there is no place for it in our Military. Using the MCPON’s
three tools to “Zero in on Excellence” will go a long way in helping us to do away
with sexual assault in our Navy.
