10. Internet anonymity is a privacy law that guarantees no third
parties would have the access to an internet user’s
personally-identifiable information (P.I.I) without their
consent. This info is tracked when a user places orders online
and when they fill out forms when signing up for websites.
Consumers are fighting back against collecting cookies. Some
software even blocks this type of collection of data.
Collecting data is legal through cookies for most sites. Stored
cookies are what allows the automatic filling out of online
forms of data. Some users find this convenient and efficient.
Others find this feature invasive and intrusive. These users
believe that companies should not store this data. .

Bill in legislature in the State of California
Will force companies who acquire data to deliver information they
have on a specific user upon request
Require the company to release what personal identifiable information
they have about the user
Require the company to tell the user how your information is being used
This Bill is showing progress to pass in the State of California, but has been
pushed out to 2014.
Many believe it will be passed comparing it to a Credit Score, as there was
once a day when we did not have access to our own credit score.
