Pitch 21
1. Risk assessment
I will personally conduct a well formulated and precise risk assessment for the purpose of when
taking shots with a 550d camera for my production and models.
Equipments images What are the hazards How can I prevent them
550D camera • The camera falling
because not screwed
on
• Camera overheat
• Double check that the
camera is stable on the
stand
• Use camera for set time
Photoshoot back screen • The set becomes
overcrowded
• Light stands and wiring
• Minimise the amount of
people allowed to be
on set
• Ensure that actors are
aware and away from
stands and wires
Props (plastic swords) • Ensure that it does
create harm to anyone
• To be used in the
wrong way
• The prop shall be
placed in a secure place
• Only those permitted to
use he prop can use it
2. Budget
I realise that I will be using school material and I personally do not have the finance to support professional
actors and equipment's. My solution to this however is to use correct volunteered candidates at my school,
preferably 16-17 years teenagers. This is because to allow them to use equipment with a sense of maturity and
to also allow with their permission if they could be used for a photoshoot. I will follow the child protection law,
this is where students have the right to study without uneccry intrusion and must have permission to be used
for non profit images”. I will follow the regulations by setting a convenient time where the teenagers can come
freely, this will be during afterschool. I will also need to have personal consent form from them for proof to
use their images for non profit.
The props I have chosen to use are

The props I have chosen to use are content appropriate for both my primary
audience and secondary audience. i will attain thses props witin school
resources, they will be used for the purpose of the front cover of magazine
