Intellectual stimulation refers to school leaders ensuring faculty and staff are aware of current theories and practices regarding effective schooling and making discussion of those theories a regular part of school culture. Leaders do this by continually exposing staff to current research, keeping informed about research themselves, and fostering discussion of research among staff.
