Matthew Maycock, PhD, is a Baxter Fellow in the School of Education and Social Work, University of Dundee and Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Gender Studies, Karlstad University. He previously worked at the Scottish Prison Service undertaking research often on gender and transgender issues in prison as well as facilitating staff development across a range of areas. And undertook a PhD at the University of East Anglia that analysed modern slavery through the theoretical lens of masculinity.
