ENACT is an organization that uses drama therapy techniques and interactive theater performances to help youth overcome obstacles in their lives. They have worked with over 2,000 students across New York City, seeing decreases in bullying, increased attendance and participation, as well as improved communication skills. In addition to working directly with students, ENACT also provides workshops and institutes for faculty, parents, and caregivers on topics like behavior management. These services are led by certified drama therapists and may qualify for continuing education credits.

2. Introduction
 The cofounder of the Bushwick School for Social
Justice, Matthew Corallo spent many years as the
principal of High School of Hospitality Management in
New York. Alongside his work as a principal and
teacher, Matthew Corallo supports the work of
nonprofit organizations such as ENACT.
An organization dedicated to helping youth identify
and tackle obstacles in their lives, ENACT combines
drama therapy techniques with interactive theater
performances. The organization has worked with over
2,000 students from more than 50 schools and
learning centers across New York City's five boroughs.
Reported results include a decrease in bullying,
increased class attendance and participation, and
improved communication skills.

3. Faculty and Family Workshops
 In addition to working with kids, ENACT also
provides supporting services for caregivers,
parents, and teachers. These services,
provided by certified drama therapists, include
faculty and family workshops that address
intervention for behavior management and
one- and three-day institutes that delve deeper
into related topics. The institutes may qualify
participants for continuing education credits.
