 Must have a 93% average for all academic
classes
 Must complete 20 Service Hours
 Regular attendance of Jr. Beta Meetings
 *Students who do not meet these
requirement will be put on probation and
face possible expulsion from Jr. Beta

Jr.Beta Club member, JacksonTauscher (JT),
who had the opportunity to participate in
S.M.A.R.T. with his East Cobb Baseball team
volunteered to serve dinner to families @ the
Atlanta Ronald McDonald house.

6. Convention
 2013-2014 State Convention is
November 21-22 in Macon, Georgia.
 Participate in activities ranging from
academic contests, poster contests,
quiz bowls, talent competitions and
much more.
 Theme is
“Making History with Beta”
 Deadline is October 11th.

7. Induction
 September 24th
 All NEW Jr. Beta member will be inducted to the WBMS
chapter of Jr. Beta. Parents are invited and a light
reception will take place immediately following. More
information to come. Check the website and listen to the
morning announcements.

8. New Officers 2013-2014
 At this time, we would like to open it up those who are
interested in becoming a Jr. Beta Officer for the 2013-2014
school year.
 Please come to the front of the room if you are interested in an
officer position
 Officers will be elected for the following positions:
 President
 Vice President
 Secretary
 Treasurer
