Article 34 of the 1997 Higher Education Bill defines Virtual University Minnesota as a system to provide the uniform delivery of higher education administrative services and program offerings to students through the electronic medium of the InternetMinnesota Virtual University is a customer driven gateway to Minnesota higher education and opportunities for lifelong learning. MnVU is organized to facilitate, coordinate, and promote access, quality, partnerships, and greater efficiency in Minnesota higher education.
