Burioni gli ebook: la percezione è che il momento sia giunto e che i modelli commerciali (almeno per il mercato consumer) siano abbastanza maturi: l'ebook reader venduto in libreria pre-caricato con una piccola collezione di libri e quindi ricaricato periodicamente dal cliente (come una ricarica di un cellulare) ancora in libreria o attraverso una libreria online. Tutti i principali distributori anglo-americani e tedeschi si stanno attrezzando, stringendo accordi con aggregatori e integratori, con l'obiettivo di offrire un nutrito catalogo di ebook alle librerie clienti. In Italia il problema resta quello della produzione di contenuto locale, cioè di libri italiani. Fin tanto che non sarà disponibile un catalogo sufficientemente ampio di titoli italiani, sarà piuttosto difficile vendere lettori di ebook e quindi mettere in moto il mercato. Chissà quali sono i piani dei nostri editor

13. Il ministro Gelmini ''promuove'' il libro di testo elettronico "con l'adozione dell'e-book" si dà "una mano alle famiglie e un sollievo agli studenti.
