In Catalonia, Christmas is celebrated from December 25th to January 6th. Two important traditions are "el tió," a log that is hit with sticks until it "defecates" presents, celebrated on December 25th, and "els reis," the three kings who bring presents on the night of January 5th. Typical Christmas foods include sopa de galets (pasta shell soup), carn d'olla (stews), neules (wafers), and turrons (nougats).

the night of 5th of
January and the next
day you enjoy playing
with them.
