ONE HISTORY
The life of Ida B. Wells is a fascinating combination of women's
history, black history, and American history. This presentation by
Rosemary Lytle is a one-woman show about Ida B. Wells, a fierce
and fearless civil rights advocate, anti-lynching crusader, suffragist,
women's rights advocate, journalist, and speaker. She stands as one
of our nation's most uncompromising leaders and most ardent
defenders of democracy. Ida B. Wells connected the issues of black
women to the issues of all women. Ida B. Wells will address historic as
well as contemporary issues.
Rosemary Lytle currently serves as the Colorado/Montana/Wyoming
State Conference NAACP President and is the Communications
Director for the American Civil Liberties Union of Colorado.
