A nonprofit organization, NIGA remains dedicated to helping
Native American communities flourish through social and
economic self-sufficiency. The association aims to accomplish
this goal by helping its members remain abreast of emerging
legislation and educational opportunities in the field of Indian
gaming. Perhaps the most prominent outlet for gaming
information is NIGA’s annual Tradeshow and Convention,
which has served the Native American community for more
than three decades.
3. From March 13 to 16, 2016, guests gathered at the
Phoenix Convention Center in Arizona for one of
the nation’s largest meetings of casino
administrators and tribal leaders. Throughout the
event, gaming industry professionals showcased
the most cutting-edge products and discuss
popular trends. Additionally, guests had the unique
opportunity to network with other members of their
industry in between participation in a number of
informational workshops. The event also served as
a background for Native Americans to display and
honor their culture.
