  1. Thanks for joining us for our webinar: Past, Present, and Predictions: Content Marketing from 2017 to 2018. My name is Lizzy Funk and I will be your moderator today. Before we get started, I’d like to go over some housekeeping.

The agenda today will start with a quick overview of the current trends in content marketing and then we’ll get into a panel discussion around what worked, what is working and what will work in content marketing in the coming years.   5. Before diving into some stats, I want to start with a quick story.. This may feel like forever ago, but it’s not that long ago we browsed for videos like this… content sorted chronologically (sound familiar?) Purely on the customer to figure out what they want
  6. Compare that with Netflix - obviously a better experience. But why? Because self discovery when there’s thousands of options is overwhelming - Netflix figures out what you want
  7. Randy: Yeah, but even that doesn’t always work
  8. How we handle our multiple personas replicate netflix ven diagram experience in the middle
  9. But in all seriousness – not all of us are selling products that fit in vending machines – we need to sell our product or service through thought leadership / content / education we need our prospects to engage and irrelevance is killing our chances at success Agile – terminus + uberflip allows us to launch targeted campaigns quickly and easily – this helps us scale our ABM efforts
