- 46. RESPIRATION Baby amphibians breathe with their GILLS. Adults breathe with their LUNGS and absorb oxygen through their SKIN.
- 47. PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS Most amphibians have FOUR LIMBS. They have MOIST (WET) SKIN. Frogs have WEBBED FEET that help them swim.
- 50. Arthropods are the biggest group of invertebrates. They can be divided in four groups.

- 52. • Insects have an exoskeleton. • Their bodies have three sections: head, thorax and abdomen. • They have two antennae and six legs. • Some have wings and can fly.

- 54. • Crustaceans have a thick exoskeleton. • They have eight legs and two big claws at the front of their bodies. • They have two eyes and four antennae
- 55. MYRIAPODS
- 56. • They have two antennae on the front of their bodies. • Myriapods have an exoskeleton. • Their bodies have many segments and they also have lots of legs.

- 58. • Arachnids have an exoskeleton. • Their bodies have two sections: a joint head and thorax and an abdomen • They have eight legs and most have eight eyes.
