replace the need of humans for social contact

to more efficient and faster ways of communication
• Through more efficient interaction possibilities, people
will be able to maintain more relationships at the same
time
• More maintained relationships will lead to greater
network structures
• These extended network structures lead to globalization
and consequently to a more connected world
• Through these faster and more effective future social
interactions, the world will become smaller, drawing
closer together and there will be fewer barriers in the
global economy
• New technologies will emerge and will be accessible to a
wider range of people than today
• Communication devices will be more integrated in daily
life, thereby offering a wider range of services
• Disruptive innovations will occur that will completely
change the way how people communicate with each

for social interaction. Also in the year 2025 people will enjoy spending time together, thereby maybe just using
technologies that make it easier and more efficient to schedule their respective interactions.
