WSO2's API Vision: Unifying Control, Empowering Developers
Readme trainer
1. Readme_Trainer.doc for WinCC V6.0 30.06.2003
Changes in the development of the V6.0 course relate to the adaptation of the
system changes, screenshots and where necessary to the adaptation in word and
picture (slide). Since the course has to be conducted in a very limited time,
Chapter 4 was reorganized; you will now find the many C scripts in Chapter 15.
Instead of C scripts, the new topic of VB Script is to be presented.
There are demo functions which are to be presented by the trainer. In Chapter 15,
there is a listing of the function expansion of WinCC V6.0. Adapt yourself to the
participants, only touch on some subjects in the individual chapters, do extra
exercises where it‘s needed. The course folder provides you with so much
information that you can respond to the interests of the participants.
In the ZeitplanBWINCCS.PPT ScheduleBWINCCS.PPT file, you will find a
schedule for conducting the course. A focal point in Chapter 4 (Graphics) is the
complete reworking of the exercises and they are located at the end of the
chapter. There is a total of 14 exercises in Chapter 4.
(Participants need almost no support with the exercises--tested in four courses--).
1. A_WinCC_Kurs_PPT_6_0d, d=German langauge or e=English language slides
for Powerpoint.
2. The course projects are located in the directory A_WinCC_Kurs_PRJ. Copy the
complete directory - A_WinCC_Kurs_PRJ into a drive of your choice. Since the
installation path is accessed by several applications, the configuration has to be
adjusted in the individual projects (See the Projekteinstellungen.ppt Project
Settings file). After you open the above-mentioned main directory you will be able
to determine the WinCC version. The two language versions d and e have
already been taken into account. The Dozentenhilfe.doc Trainer Help file contains
further information.
About 1. Take the time to get an overview of the copies made available (these can
be obtained from Mr. Hofmann +49 (911) 895-3253, PT49, or
Andreas.Hofmann@nbgm.siemens.de, Nürnberg-Moorenbrunn), where typing
corrections have been made, new hardcopies of Version V6.0 have been
integrated, and function expansions have been described.

WinCC_Fehler (WinCC_Error)
3
4. is a project that can be used for courses (special courses) where the standard
course contents can be done without and where the focal point is on the
exercises (commissioning engineers, maintenance personnel, service). You will
find the solutions for the errors described in the file
Readme_WinCC_Fehler.doc.
I would be glad to hear of suggestions and correction proposals.
Yours very truly,
