  1. Ist eine stark dezentralisierte Organisation Nutzt eine Forschungsgemeinschaft (Community of Research (CoRe)) Nutzt MOODLE als Kommunikations- und Kooperationsplattform Hat ca. 200 Dozierende und 50 ForscherInnen
  2. Wissen fliesst zu wenig (IST): Warum? Mögliche Barrieren Hierarchie & Departemente => “Wissensinseln” Dezentralisierung => Fragmentierung der Arbeits-Orte Arbeitszeitmodelle => Fragmentierung der Arbeits-Zeit Barriere (a): seit langem im WM bekannt – genügt aber nicht weil Rolle des Menschen zu wenig verstanden Problematik aus Sicht der betrieblichen Organisationsstrukturen Quelle: Probst, G., Raub, S. & Romhardt, K. (1997) Wissen managen. Wiesbaden: Gabler, S. 255 Die heutige Problematik besteht darin, dass sich von der strategischen Ausrichtung funktionierende, unabhängige Wissensinseln bilden können, d. h. jeder löst nur gerade seine Probleme oder Ideen. Dadurch bewegt sich das Unternehmen möglicherweise in eine falsche Richtung In der Folge werden Projekte lanciert, die zur Wertvermehrung oder zum Überleben der Firma nicht viel beitragen. Zum Beispiel werden Wissensmanagement-Projekte lanciert, die einen Teil eines Wissens-managements ausmachen, aber nicht wirklich Wissensmanagement darstellen!)
