2. Norberto Napolitano “P A P P O” Norberto “Pappo” Napolitano was born March 10th, 1950. It is for many, one of the fathers of Rock and Blues in Argentina. In 1970, he formed his first Pappo`s Blues band. The first album was released in 1971. Pappo constantly travelled to Europe and the United States, in this last country he could play for six months with Peter Green. He formed Riff in 1980 where he ventured in heavy metal.He produced five CDs. In 1992 he made “Local Blues” which had a magnificent impact on the public, not only of the people of blues. In this album incorporated manal classic” A house with 10 pines”. In 1995, he returned with Pappo`s Blues to edit the last album. The band called it “Case Closed”. 3. BOB MARLEY Robert Nesta "Bob" Marley (February 6th, 1945 – May 11th, 1981) was a Jamaican singer, songwriter and musician. He was the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist for the ska, Rocksteady and Reggae band ”The Wailers” (1964–1974) and “Bob Marley & The Wailers” (1974–1981). Marley remains the most widely known and revered performer of reggae music, and is credited for helping spread both Jamaican music and the Rastafari movement to a worldwide audience. CHESPIRITO Roberto Gomez Bolaños ( Mexico City, February 21st, 1929), better known as Chespirito, is a comedian, songwriter, playwright, poet, writer, director and producer of Mexican television, creator of "El Chavo" and " Chapulin Colorado”. Before becoming an actor, was a boxer. He also did much of the engineering career at UNAM, but never graduated. Married since 2004 with Florinda Meza who played in the Dona Florinda Chavo del Ocho, after a long relationship.He began his career as a creative advertising, which connected him with the radio and television.He also made several film scripts and television programs in Mexico. In 1970, the character of the Grasshopper Colorado was born. He was also the creator of several characters, such as Chompiras, Dr. Chapatín and Chaparrón Bonaparte. Despite its recurring scripts, these programs became hits throughout Latin America, the United States and Spain. In 1980, their sketches met again in one hour a week in the program known under his pseudonym, and remained on the air until 1995. He also starred in Mexican films.In 2000, Televisa gave a tribute entitled "They did not have my wits!" commemorating the 30th year anniversary of the show “El Chavo del Ocho”. 5. VINCENT VAN GOGH Vincent van Gogh was born in Groot-Zundert, Holland. He was a son of a pastor, and was brought up in a religious family. Because of this, Vincent was very emotional and he did not have enough self-confidence. Between 1860 and 1880, when he finally decided to become an artist, van Gogh had two sad romances. He also worked unsuccessfully in a bookstore, as an art salesman, and a preacher. He remained in Belgium, where he preached, to study art. The works of his early Dutch period are sad, sharp, and one of the most famous pictures from here is "The Potato Eaters", painted in 1885. In that year, van Gogh went to Antwerp where he found the works of Rubens and bought a lot of Japanese prints. In May of 1890, he regained his health and went to live in Auvers-sur-Oise. However, two months later at July 27, he was found dead, because he had commited suicide by shooting himself in the chest. He died two years later, with Theo at his side, who reported his last words as "La tristesedureratoujours", which meant, "The sadness will last forever". SANDRO Roberto Sánchez (August 19th, 1945 – January 4th, 2010), better known by his artist names ("Sandro of America"), Sandro/Sandro de América in Spanish, Gitano (gypsy), and the Argentine Elvis. He was an Argentine singer and actor. Sandro is considered one of the greatest latino pop singers of all time due to his amazing dance moves and his voice, which made him popular among latin America and Europe....Sandro was born in Buenos Aires in 1945. 8. RODRIGO Alejandro Rodrigo Bueno was born in 1973, in Argentina. His nickname was “El Potro". He sang in the group “Chevere" for 11 years. Rodrigo sang for more than 5000 people. After that he formed the group “Manto Negro" and earned his first salary as a professional. He recorded his first CD “La Foto de Cuerpo" in 1987. Rodrigo recorded many cds and made many concerts. 9. Mercedes Sosa Mercedes Sosa was born on July 9th, 1935, in San Miguel de Tucumán, in the northwestern Argentine province of Tucumán. In 1950, at the age of fifteen, she won a singing competition organized by a local radio station and was given a contract to perform for two months. She recorded her first album,” La Voz de la Zafra”, in 1959. In the early 1970s,Mercedes Sosa released two concept albums in collaboration with composer Ariel Ramírez and lyricist Félix Luna: “Cantata Sudamericana” and “MujeresArgentinas”. In 1994, she played at the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City. In 2002, she sold out both Carnegie Hall in New York and the Coliseum in Rome in the same year. She died on Sunday 4th October in 2009. 10. JOWELL & RANDY Joel A. MuñozMartínez was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on March 3rd, 1982. Randy Acevedo Ortiz was born on January 15th, 1983 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. They had previous years of experience, singing reggaeton and being a part of many albums before becoming the duo of Jowell & Randy. Jowellrecorded his first song in 1996 entitled "Los Fugitivos", Randy recorded his first song in 1998, being a part of a CD produced by In The House magazine, alongside other various artists. Jowell & Randy first met in 2000. They later recorded their first single, “TodavíaRecuerdo” They had many recognitions from a radio station Audio Activa 102.3 FM, which led them to record many more songs such as “Time TO Kill” Vol.2, “Ground Zero”,” Zona de Perrero”, and “Los Intocables y Kilates” Vol. 2, all productions from Diamond Music.They gained notability in the United States when they recorded their single, "No Voy A Parar." Later on Jowell & Randy were featured in the Chosen Few II: El Documental CD and promoted the CD among 45 cities in and out of the United States. In 2006, Randy was featured in the song Siente El Boom, alongside song writer Tito "El Bambino". Later, they made the "Siente El Boom" remix alongside Jowell and De La Ghetto.
