1. France’s independent multidisciplinary
biotechnology think-tank
Building on France’s largest multidisciplinary life sciences network, Adebiotech promotes
interactions between the industrial world (SMEs and large companies), and the academic one in the
field of biotechnology. The goal is to foster and support sustainable innovations.
Adebiotech activities are supported by institutional representatives (ministries, local authorities)
Adebiotech works across the entire biotechnology spectrum: human and animal health,
environment, energy, food/feed, cosmetics, industrial processes… creating unprecedented but
necessary synergies to overcome the challenge of innovation.
Missions
Break down barriers between disciplines or
uses
Support existing industry sectors
Create new industry sectors and accelerate
their development
Contribute to the dialogue between private
and public bodies
Overcome scientific, technological, regulatory,
and ethical hurdles
Actions
Animation of working groups leading to
national / international scientific conferences
in emerging areas with highly promising value
and of strong societal impact
Disseminate information from Adebiotech
events (studies, reports) and from members of
Adebiotech
Create networks across public and private
organisations including with regional and
national governing bodies.
