Triumph will launch the iconic Bonneville motorcycle in India this year. The Bonneville has a retro style and comes with chrome accents, twin exhaust, and a twin cylinder 865cc engine. It produces 67 bhp of power and 68 Nm of torque. Triumph will initially set up dealerships in major cities like Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai before expanding further. The Bonneville has high performance and handling capabilities suitable for Indian roads.

British Motorcycles Giant Triumph is all set to launch the legacy of bikes the Triumph Bonneville,which is
known as the most iconic motorcycles ever made.The legendary bike from Triumph motors,Bonneville
will make its debut in India this year.The Bike has a retro look which is the biggest USP of this
Motorcycle.The bike is smooth and fun to drive,comes with chrome engine covers and twin exhaust.It
has Triumph logo on the seat.The bike has high performance as it has a dual carburetor and twin
cylinder engine.The classic styling and chassis are lean and easy to handle.Triumph will bring the
machines in Inida via CKD (completely knocked down) route.The Bonneviile brand has been around for
over 50 years and now it looks for a new journey in India.Initially Triumph will have dealerships in
Delhi,Bangalore and Mumbai and later it will expand its network to other major states,will play its
strategy amongst the global players in India like Ducati, Harley –Davidson and BMW Motorrad.

Gearbox & Engine :- Bonneville in India will be powered by an air cooled,parallel twin 865cc engine
which produce the peak power and torque output of 67 bhp and 68 Nm at 7500 rpm and 5800 rpm.The
engine is connected to a five –speed manual gearbox.
Fuel Efficiency :- Though the bike is still to be tested on Indian roads,however 20 kmpl is expected from
the bike.
Performance & Acceleration :- The bike is tuned to deliver powerful performance like any cruiser bike

kmph in less than 11 seconds and the DOHC engine stays calm even at the speed of 150 kmph.

wheels of the bike are equipped with 2-piston calipers and disc brakes,rear disc brake is of 255 mm and
front disc brake is of 310 mm.
Ride & Handling :- Long wheelbase of 1490 mm gives it more stability on highways and ground
clearance of 140 mm helps to turn at slow speeds.The soft shock absorbers of the bike are evident at
sharp corners.Overall ride and handling is confident.
