The 'Beauty' and the 'Beast' refers to a piece of land...'then' and 'now.'

1. What you are about to see is the now
10-years ago transformation of a 3 to
4-acre piece of land adjacent to where
my barn here at the end of Magnolia
Lane…
---a transformation from “The
Beast…” that it once was to “The
Beauty…” that it has since become.

2. Beauty and the Beast
 For some 10 years (from 1990 to 2000) I lived beside
a guy by the name of Danny, his wife, and 2-kids. He
worked construction---remodeling, really, and he
would bring home all this junk and just pile it up on his
land. He built a lean-to addition onto his mobile
home…then after his wife and kids left him, he
brought another trailer to the site. It was then that I
offered to buy him out…and his landlord, Edsel
Galimore, whose daddy at one time owned all this
land around Prices Fork, did agree to sell it to me for
what I considered an outlandish price--- the sum of
$19,000, but money well spent. I call what follows
here now “The Beast...”
