MR. MOTO TAKES A VACATION (1939)
Mr. Moto takes a vacation was released on the 7th July, 1939
and was directed by Norman Foster.
Disguised as a German archaeologist, Moto helps unearth
the priceless crown of the legendary Queen of Sheba and
sans disguise defends it from a variety of thugs and
criminals.

BERLIN EXPRESS (1948)
The Berlin Express was released on the 1st May, 1948 and
was directed by Jacques Tourneur.
A multinational group of train passengers become involved in
a post-World War II Nazi assassination plot.
7. ROGUES’ REGIMENT (1948)
Rogues’ Regiment was released on the 28th
September, 1948. It was directed by Robert Florey.
After World War II, ex-soldiers trickle into French Saigon to
join the Foreign Legion, among them American Whit
Corbett and German Carl Reicher. Is Reicher really SS
war criminal Martin Bruner, and is Corbett after him? Art
dealer Van Ratten and nightclub chanteuse Lili Maubert
are also more than they seem. Action scenes include
anti-guerilla jungle warfare

NORTH BY NORTHWEST (1959)
North by Northwest was released on the 22nd November
1959 and was directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The film was
rated a PG.
A hapless New York advertising executive is mistaken for a
government agent by a group of foreign spies, and is
pursued across the country while he looks for a way to
survive.
9. REAR WINDOW (1954)
Rear Window was released on the 14th January 1954, and
directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The certificate of the film is a
12A.
A wheelchair bound photographer spies on his neighbours
from his apartment window and becomes convinced one of
them has committed murder.
10. 1960’S
DR. NO (1962)
Dr. No was a James Bond film released on the 6th
October, 1962. The director was Terence Young and the
certificate of the film was a PG.
James Bond's investigation of a missing colleague in
Jamaica leads him to the island of the mysterious Dr. No
and a scheme to end the US space program.
11. SALT AND PEPPER (1968)
Salt and Pepper was released on the 3rd July, 1968. It
was directed by Richard Donner and was rated a PG.
After discovering the body of a murdered female agent in
their trendy Soho, London nightclub, groovy owners
Charles Salt and Christopher Pepper partake in a
fumbling investigation and uncover an evil plot to
overthrow the government. Can our cool, yet inept duo

From Russia with love was another James Bond film
which was released on the 11th October 1963. It was
directed by Terence Young which was rated a PG.
James Bond willingly falls into an assassination ploy
involving a naive Russian beauty in order to retrieve
a Soviet encryption device that was stolen by
SPECTRE.

THE FRENCH CONNECTION (1971)
The French Connection was released on the 9th
October, 1971. It was directed by William Freidkin and was
rated an 18.
A pair of NYC cops in the Narcotics Bureau stumble onto a
drug smuggling job with a French connection.
14. THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN (1974)
The man with the golden gun was another bond film
which was released on the 19th December, 1974. The
director was Guy Hamilton and was rated a PG.
Bond is led to believe that he is targeted by the world's
most expensive assassin and must hunt him down to
stop him.
15. 1980’S
THE RUNNING MAN (1987)
The running man was directed by Paul Michael Glaser and
was released on the 21st October, 1987. The film was rated
an 18.
A wrongly-convicted man must try to survive a public
execution gauntlet staged as a TV game show.
16. THE LETHAL WEAPON (1987)
The Lethal Weapon was released on the 28th August, 1987
and directed by Richard Donner. The certificate of the film
was an 18.
A veteran cop, Murtough, is partnered with a young
homicidal cop, Riggs. Both having one thing in
common, hating working in pairs. Now they must learn to
work with one and other to stop a gang of drug smugglers.
17. ROBOCOP (1987)
RoboCop was released on the 5th February, 1988 and was
directed by Paul Verhoeven. The certificate of the film was

18. THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER (1990)
The Hunt fir Red October was released on the 20th
April, 1990 and directed by John Mctiernan. The film was
rated a PG.
In 1984, the USSR's best submarine captain in their newest
sub violates orders and heads for the USA. Is he trying to

THE ROCK (1996)
The Rock was released on the 21st June, 1996. It was
directed by Michael Bay and rated a 15.
A renegade general and his group of U.S. Marines take
over Alcatraz and threaten San Francisco Bay with
biological weapons. A chemical weapons specialist and
the only man to have ever escaped from the Rock
attempt to prevent chaos.

ACTION THRILLER
Enemy of the State was released on the 26th December
1998 and was directed by Tony Scott. The film was rated a
15.
A lawyer becomes a target by a corrupt politician and his
NSA goons when he accidentally receives key evidence to a

RED PLANET (2000)
Red Planet was released on the 1st December 2000. It was

Astronauts search for solutions to save a dying Earth by
searching on Mars, only to have the mission go terribly awry.
22. THE BOURNE SUPREMACY (2004)
The Bourne Supremacy was released on the 13th
August, 2004 and was directed by Paul Greengrass. The
certificate of the film was a 12A.
When Jason Bourne is framed for a botched CIA operation
he is forced to take up his former life as a trained
assassin to survive.
