• The city has a circular layout.
• The city centre is in the middle, in walking
distance.

storey family houses
with big gardens and
a green environment.
• But also neighbors
are not very far away.

5. İsolation is very important, so that the houses are warm in winter and cool in summer.
That’s why we decided on double walls with isolation buds in between.

6. We have eco-buildings in our G.E.T.
• In the north parts of
Omerli, we built the
houses with their own
solar panels, these are not
only for hot water but
also for electricity.

7. All houses have their own cisterns or
wells to collect and use rain water for
watering their garden and the crops in
the garden.

8. Facilities and utilities in our G.E.T.
• We have a town hall
building in the heart of the
town.
• A post office and a
museum

a hospital, a school,
• a cinema and a recreational area
where people can spend time.

10. • A recycle centre. So that people can easily
take the materials and put into suitable
containers so that they all can be reused.

11. • A compost area… Municipality built a big
compost area by the houses in order to gain
fertilizer. Natural fertilizers can also be
produced in the gardens.

• One is built by Omerli
Dam to have clean
water in the houses ;
the process of
removing undesirable
chemicals
and gases from
contaminated water is
done here .

13. The water for the household will be
distributed from the Ömerli Dam.
The other one is to purify the wasted
water to use in the fields.It is built
closer to the city centre by the farm
and fields.

town will be produced
from wind energy and
solar energy mostly.So,
We built windmills and
energy panels.

G.E.T.
• Most needs are in walking
distance.
• Motorized vehicles will be used
minimum.
• Electric bus and bikes will be
prefered.
• So, there won’t be the air and
noise pollution.
