2. Penelope is older than Monica. Penelope started acting before her sister Monica. Penelope started
practicing different dances. She studied acting and presented herself to many castings. Her first acting was
in the music video of the song The strength of the destiny of the pop group Mecano.
Monica was interested in dancing since she was a child. She joined the Royal Dance Conservatory, where
she become a good dancer. Then she joined a company where they offered her first
role on the screen.
In 2002 she was part of the series There she played as a young teen that love dancing.
That made her career take off.
Now the two sisters act and they have their own collection of clothes. But they
also collaborate to create clothes together.
