I have managed and provided public library service at the Catawba County Library System for over 25 years and have trained staff to adapt to multiple changes in libraries over the past decade especially changes in technology. I am an energetic and enthusiastic proponent of literature, the arts, and life-long learning opportunities. My career goal is to serve my community as a library director, using my gifts for leadership and management and my passion for learning and technology, to promote the resources of the public library as a path to a more enriched life.
