Info
I am a three-time Hugo Award winner, special collections curator/archivist, editor, and podcaster. The library collections that I am responsible for are primarily pop-culture materials, and so I am very involved in the Science Fiction and Fantasy genre community, archiving materials in all formats (including digital). I was the co primary investigator on an Institute for Museum and Library Services grant, Digital POWRR (http://digitalpowrr.niu.edu), studying cost-effective digital preservation for under-resourced libraries (2011-2014). Our paper "From Theory to Action" is available: http://commons.lib.niu.edu/handle/10843/13610.
I co-authored _Special Collections 2.0_ with Beth Whittaker...
