2.  Ellen Lee DeGeneres was born in New Orleans in
January the 26th of 1958.
 She is a stand-up comedian, television host, actress,
writer and producer.

3.  She hosts a show called "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in
which she combines comedy, celebrity, musical guests
and human-interest stories.

4.  Also non-famous people have their 15 minutes of fame or
introduce her fans to their favourite celebrities. There are
also games in which people of the audience win prices
like money.

5.  She also hosted many award shows just as The
Television Broadcast of the Emmy Awards, the 2005
Primetime Emmy Awards Ceremony and Emmy Awards
in 1996 and in 1997.

6.  On September of, 2006 DeGeneres was selected to host
the 79th Academy Awards. Later she was nominated for
an Emmy Award as host of the Academy Awards
broadcast. Last year, 2013, by August, it was announced
that Ellen will host the Academy Awards this year on
March the 2nd for the second time.

7.  I chose this person because it called my attention that on
her shows she gives prices to winners and makes fans
know their favorite celebrities like as she is very
generous and her surname is "DeGeneres" which sounds
as "The Generous". Ellen the Generous.
