This document summarizes a study on using tablets in German schools. It discusses the findings of a pilot study where iPads were introduced into two classes at a vocational school in Germany. Key findings included that the iPads were most frequently used for media and information literacy activities. The document also outlines steps needed for successful integration of one-to-one tablet programs, such as new approaches to curriculum, teaching methods, and teacher training.
