2. 1. Our Intent
Starting from the context of the thinking which is emerging in the
twenty-first century, and from the project of the global evolution of SoL,
we intend to give birth to an open, unifying, horizontal, participatory
and generative organization.
An organization in which to apply the systemic disciplines of SoL and its
global partners, to pursue learning and organizational well-being in
every area of life.
An organization in which the theory and the practice find the right union,
to become a major national hub of the economical, sociological,
psychological and management’s culture of the twenty-first century, and
a real agent of change.
3. 1. Our Intent - follows
We intend to propose a real and concrete change, and put a strong
focus on communication to pursue a wide dissemination of the
messages and the practices of SoL and its global partners, like
Presencing Institute, Team Accademy, Tellus Institute, World Cafè
Network, etc.
And we intend to keep in mind and deepen the cultural particularities
that characterize Italy, which are also been a factor of world-class
excellence in historical periods like the Renaissance, in order to identify
which are the positive forces we can now work on more closely.
To do this we intent to join several people, corporations and
organizations that demonstrate a propensity toward the practice of
humanistic, systemic and evolutionary management.

5. 2. Who we are
We’re a group of people with the passion of organizational learning,
humanistic management, innovation and change.
We have met different times since May 2011 and now we have the
good will to embrace new perspectives of leadership, connection, and
organizational evolution.
Several of us want to create a strong community in Italy sharing
examples and experiences of organizational performance involving
different leaders at different levels, developing engagement across
multicultural environments,
The professionals of the group are all experienced trainers, coaches,
counsellors, facilitators and experts in change management, linked also
to different associations and research groups about complexity and
systems thinking.
6. 2. Who we are - follows
Many of us published several articles and books on these themes.
All the people present have a strong passion for recent evolutionary
and leadership methodologies, and are inspired by the participatory
management and by the need to work to foster a healthy and concrete
Human and Social Development.
At the moment the people who have already given their support for the
founding of the community, listed below, are over 50, while the total
active contacts with interested people are nearly 150.
With the people there are three not for profit organizations as founders
of the community :
- World is Changing,
- European Society of Ecopsicology,
- ManagerZen.

9. 3. Why we are doing this
We strongly believe in the possibility of giving a substantial contribution
to the emerging evolutionary shift, at all levels: micro, meso, macro e
mundo. This shift is grounded on an the emerging culture increasingly
oriented to new levels of awareness, that moves the attention structure
from the egocentric and ethnocentric level to ecocentric and
worldcentric.
The evolutionary shift can become real mainly through the aggregation
of Community of Practice able to address real challenges, through the
adoption of new social technologies - proposed by SoL and its
global partners like Presencing Institute - as tools for a
sustainable evolution that starts necessarily from self.
10. 3. Why we are doing this - follows
In today’s world, individuals and organizations specifically need to
acquire new evolutionary skills, especially oriented to the dimension of
being and becoming and grounded on humanistic, systemic and
transpersonal approaches.
In our hearts, the SoL community is the proper context in which to grow
and help others growing, where to share significant experiences for the
benefits of the whole community, where to develop new knowledge and
cultivate those states of presencing, necessary to let the emerging
future emerge.
11. 4. Our Vision, Mission and Values
Mission:
• Translating the values promoted by SOL in new forms of
organization of work and life to improve personal, business, social
and global life.
• Addressing the individual and collective action towards a greater
awareness of the implications and consequences of every action.
• Arousing the attention towards a broader view of reality, 'for
processes and not events'.
• Educating toward a culture of encounter, dialogue and collaboration.
• Promoting mindfulness and awareness of the interconnected nature
of the world in order to know how to open up to the future and how
to draw emerging sustainable and effective processes.
12. 4. Our Vision, Mission and Values - follows
Vision:
• Life is ever changing and the human being has an important role in
the evolutionary process, as an individual and as a species.
• The development of mindfulness leads to recognize the richness
and distinctiveness of our own individual nature.
• The awareness of interconnection, which regulates every aspect of
reality in which we live, can prepare to meet each other - human and
nonhuman - with attention, respect and empathy.
• From the combination of these two stages, the individual and
collective personal growth, arise new forms of organization in
Economy, Labour and Social Affairs, consistent with values that
promote life and well-being of all Earth's ecosystem.
13. 4. Our Vision, Mission and Values - follows
Values:
• Collaboration – attention to the mutual needs.
• Sustainability – consistency with the ecosystem’s parameters.
• Common sense – intelligence aimed at individual and collective wellbeing.
• Sharing – awareness of common destiny.
• Compassion – the ability to resonate emotionally to the existence of others.
• Responsibility – ability to recognize and accept the consequences of our
own thoughts and actions toward society, humanity, sentient beings,
Creation.
• Constructive Critical sense - the ability to argue, to refute without
condemning and excommunicating.
• Flexibility - opening to the unexpected, ability to adapt to an open and non-
mechanistic future.
• Creativity – in developing new forms, new processes for a living, all, well.
• Beauty – as an ‘external’ indicator of the quality of our own actions.
• Joy – as an ‘internal’ indicator of the quality of our own actions.
14. 5. Who we are going to connect and
how we think to become a big group
Our intent is to talk to a wide range of publics, well aware of the complexity that
this option necessary means. We believe that it is not the time anymore, for
closed elitist circles; therefore, we need to be open and available to facilitate a
memetic diffusion of evolutionary meta-principles on which individual and
organization evolution is grounded.
On one side, natural interlocutors for us are “immune carriers” and testimonials
of the emerging global awakening virus that is spreading worldwide. They are
the change agents diffusing the new post-rationalistic and post-tayloristic
paradigms of XXI century, as Systemic Thinking and its evolutions, Theory of
Complexity, the Evolution Theory applied to social science, Management 2.0,
etc.
On the other side, our intent is not to marginalize no one, but include any group
or people, by activating proper communication channels with any individual,
professional, organization, institution, always respecting their identity and
evolutionary level, characterized by different values, languages, tools and
worldviews.
15. 5. Who we are going to connect and
how we think to become a big group - follows
In order to give a strong contribution to the goal of spreading SoL
Evolution culture and activities, we wish to adopt several methods and
tools as: community building initiatives, social networking, interviews to
leaders and testimonials, training and convivial events, diffusion of
articles, books, videos, also connecting with publishers and
editors available for the translation of significant works from their
original language in Italian.
We intend to use our enthusiasm, creativity and imagination -
characteristic of Italian culture - in order to facilitate the viral
diffusion of SoL initiatives in our country and possibly in the
world.
