Gregg Alfonso G. Abbang is an Assistant Curator and a Researcher at the Asian Institute of Maritime Studies (AIMS). Always a proud alumnus of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, he finished his Bachelor’s degree in History in the aforementioned academic institution. In 2012, he joined AIMS, one of the leading maritime schools in the Philippines, and became a part of its Special Projects Office under the Office of the President. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Anthropology at the University of the Philippines – Diliman, in which he intends to integrate the said course/discipline with History for his future works and as his area of specialization.
