2. Group MeditationCultural festival
What: The cultural festival will be an annu-
al festival that lasts for about 3 days.
There will be a concert of musical perfor-
mances representing different places in the
world and also many food stalls.
Why: To connect the different religions with
in the community and encourage everyone
to meet new people while having fun.
Who: The whole community! If you are com-
ing with your family or just by yourself you
are very welcome!
Time: 29th June– 1st July 2014. It will go
from 10.30am– 5pm each day.
Place: The village greens, Krissie St, Went-
worth Point.
Price: $5 entry fee (going to next years
festival and for other community programs)
Literacy group
What: A group which looks at improving your
reading and writing skills.
Why: To meet new people and enhance your
capability of reading/writing.
Who: Anyone who has finished school willing to
continue working on the English abilities and
those who have come from overseas wanting to
improve their English.
Time: Every week @ 4pm on Sunday, Monday
and Wednesday. (only need to participate
once a week but can do more than one)
Place: The community hall’s library.
Price: $20 for 1 lesson weekly for a month and
$40 for 2-3 lessons a week for a month.
(money goes to tutors and resources)
What: A group whose goal is to create a
relaxing environment and look at our pur-
pose in life while reflecting on the week.
Why: To relax and reflect on your life.
Who: Anyone from 16 years and over.
Time: 5pm on Monday and Fridays.
Place: Wentworth Point’s community hall.

Price: A gold coin donation (money goes to-
wards charity)
