1,500 products that people want, need and can afford, there really is something for everybody! If there are a
few people that you can’t get a catalogue to immediately you can point them to your online catalogues at the

they can decide what they may wish to order. Get them to ring through the order to you.
Let people know that you have just started your own Kleeneze business and that you need to get the
catalogues back within 24 - 48 hours because you need to get them to other people so you can achieve your
first 4 week target – your sponsor will discuss with you realistic targets you may wish to set for yourself.
When you deliver their products to them you should let them know you hit your target and how much you
earned. You will find some people will show an interest in joining you in your business - which will start
building your network and of course increase your earnings.
In addition, to further grow your business…
• You can share your business with even more people by either presenting or letterboxing your
catalogues in and around your neighbourhood – your sponsor will point out the merits of both
methods – the choice is yours.
• When you obtain over £360 in orders within 21 days of starting – Kleeneze will supply you with
another 50 full catalogue packs free of charge.
• When you hit the 10% Volume Profit level in your first company 4 week period, as well as increasing
your income level, you will receive another 50 catalogue packs free. The same applies for your
second period.

4. Presenting Your Catalogues
Many people find much better results by ‘presenting’ their catalogues as opposed to simply
‘letterboxing’ them.
Letterboxing: Simply means dropping your catalogues through the letterbox and collecting it back
one or two days later
Presenting: Simply means knocking the householder’s door and giving them the catalogue personally
by hand.
Presenting can be a really effective way of retailing, particularly if you have less than 200 catalogues
to work with.
You can present your catalogues when you wish, however you will normally find on weekdays you will
get more catalogues out per hour from 4.30pm onwards.
• In the day (weekdays) expect to present 10 – 15 catalogues per hour.
• In the evening (4.30 onwards) expect to present 15 – 20 catalogues per hour.
If you present in the daytime, try to target areas where you think there is likely to be a high percentage
people in. (Young families, retired people etc).
Here is the best way most people have found to present their catalogues:
1. Be presentable - dress smart casual.
2. Knock and then stand back from the door.
3. Turn side on or at an angle to the householder, not face to face (as this can cause conflict).
4. Smile!
5. Simply turn to face them and say “Hello, we’re delivering some Kleeneze catalogues in this
area and we’ve been asked to knock to see if we can leave you one to look at overnight (or
for a couple of days, etc) - would that be that OK?”
6. If they say yes, hand over the catalogue pack.
7. Point to the door step! “If you can just leave it there tomorrow morning (or whatever day
you have indicated) & I’ll collect it without disturbing you.”
Don’t pre judge who will & who won’t take a catalogue….
…however, do bear in mind:
• Not everyone will take your catalogue – which is a positive thing
- as that gives you more catalogues to leave with those who will!
• If they say they already have a regular distributor –
double check with them that it isn’t ‘Betterware’ (it often is!)
You can mix & match i.e. letterbox & present (when householders are out).
Here is what most people find they receive in orders from all methods:
• Letterboxing: 80p - £1 per catalogue
• Letterboxing & Presenting: £1.50 - £2.00 per catalogue.
(this can be a good option in the daytime)
• Presenting: £2.50 - £3.00 per catalogue.
5. Remember, it will take longer to present catalogues – but the rewards are much greater, catalogue
losses are much less which of course leads to more profit for you.
Make sure you revisit the area to present your catalogues again in 4-6 weeks time (exclude the
houses who did not want a catalogue when you presented there the first time). We recommend you
visit the area 3 - 4 times before you just deal with those who have ordered from you previously.
We suggest you still knock on the door when revisiting. Anyone who has previously purchased from
you before, simply hand the catalogue to them again, this time though, make sure you use their name.
i.e. “Hello Mrs Smith, nice to see you again, I’m just leaving you a Kleeneze catalogue etc…”
Presenting 40 Catalogues Daily to Find New Customers
This example is based on Kleeneze’s average of £2.70 per catalogue presented and a catalogue loss
rate of 2%.
Present 40 catalogues per day, 5 days per week = 200 catalogues hand presented each week.
Most people find they can hand present around 20 catalogues per hour.
Result: £540 each week – £2,160 each 4-week Kleeneze sales period.
You would lose around 4 catalogues per week (after 3 attempts to retrieve them).
Immediate Income £456.19 Retail Profit
(33% of SPV).
Plus a Volume Profit Bonus £179.71
(13% of SPV).

9. Your Personal Retail Activity 2nd Period
You now have 35 catalogue packs
Personally present 35 catalogue packs twice a week to your neighbourhood
This should take you about 4 to 6 hours per week
Should produce orders of approx £150 per week
Over 4 weeks this is £600 in orders for the company 4 week period
Your income = £126
(Re-invest £32 for an Income Kit containing 50 catalogue packs)
Smart Tip:
If you present during the day it will take longer – not many people at home
Present early evening – most people home = much quicker to do!!
10. Your Personal Retail Activity 3rd Period
You now have 65 - 85 catalogue packs (some originals may now be tatty)
Personally present 65 catalogue packs twice a week to your neighbourhood
(or possibly 26 per day x 5 days per week = 130 per week)
This should take you about 8 to 10 hours per week
Should produce orders of approx £260 per week
Over 4 weeks this is £1040 in orders for the company 4 week period
Your income = £286.
(Re-invest £32 for an Income Kit containing 50 catalogue packs)
Smart Tip:
You can now make this your retail target per period from now on.
11. Your Team Building Activity (Sponsoring)
When you deliver the products to your friends, family etc., let them know you
hit your target and how much you earned.
You will find some will show an interest in joining your business.
Especially the ones who got you multiple orders – they are already trained!!
Also ask them to put the word out for you and to pass on your sponsoring
website details (this website is free to you on day one and automatic).
You may wish to get car stickers and business cards to further promote your
business – ask me iff there is anything you may need.
Smart Tip:
If you aim to sponsor at least one person per period
AND show them how to do the same as you -
this is how your business could duplicate . . .
