2. Spike was born in Rockville, Maryland. His real name is Adam Spiegel. He worked at a BMX store in Rockville, where his co-workers nicknamed him “Spike Jonze”. He also directs commercials. Jonze co-founded Directors Lable with Chris Cunningham and Michel Gondry.

4. Throughout his work Spike Jonze uses techniques often found in films in his music video, giving them a similar effect and feel to films.
