Our company is a creative partnership that carefully combines
design aesthetics and marketing ideas. Inspired by traditional craft
values, we offer a worldwide service of unique and well-formulated
design solutions and creditable user experiences.
Overall, design should be functional, effective and beautiful. No ex-
cess is needed; that´s why we create simple, charming and intuitive
patterns that help our clients connect with their audience and ensure
a high quality end product.
We offer expertise in multiple disciplines such as corporate consul-
tancy, graphic design or digital development as well as conceptual
creation and strategic brand guidance. We do it by collaborating
with highly talented artists, media professionals and thinkers from

7. HOW WE DO IT: OUR PROCESS
APPROACH & CHECKLIST
We follow an iterative and responsive process based on an
understanding of our clients’ needs, audience wishes and creative
freshness. We put special emphasis on open-ended, dynamic and
regular dialogue in order to create long-term, win-win relationships,
based in commitment and trust. The first step to know each other
is gaining a clear understanding of our customers’ business. After
finding out which their business goals and needs are, we propose a
checklist of possibilities and solutions.
CUSTOMIZATION & QUOTE
At this point a customized list of questions and proposals is given to
the client in order to assemble extra information and determine the
project limits. A full inventory of services to choose from. Once this
checklist has been analyzed and customized, we create a quote of
project’s costs and suggest a reasonable deadline. Payment methods
and workflow depend on the specific project.
CONCEPT & DESIGN PROPOSAL
Based in the input data, we devise a succeeding strategy. Our goal
during this phase of the process is to determine a clear direction
and enable our client to give us feedback. Once we have a precise
understanding of our strategy we develope the concept, the creative
part of the project starts. Thus, we guarantee that our clients will
always get a solid, thorough solution, from the initial idea to the
finished product. With an intensive research we generate a unique
and integral final design.
PRODUCTION & DELIVERY
Once definitive model has been approved, it’s time to complete the
end-form. This production phase is essential to any project whether it
is print media, digital development or moving image. From now on,
clients do not need to worry about anything; we offer production
consulting, supervision and delivery.

Naming isn’t as easy as it used to be. Competitive and digital
needs make it almost impossible to be original. Fortunately, we
found one. FRIDA DESIGN LAB.
FRIDA
We wanted a name that would last and, if possible, would embody
both our values and our company’s distinguishing characteristics. As
we were integrated in an international context, one of the require-
ments was to be easy to pronounce in different languages. Besides,
keeping it simple was basic, as well as using wordplay.
[It’s a woman’s name. It pays tribute to our beloved Frida Kahlo. It
has 5 letters. It’s the beginning of friday, our favourite day. Fri(da)
and free sounds the same...]
DESIGN
That’s exactly what we do, design.
We define ourselves as a creative partnership. Nothing must be
arbitrary or left to chance. Care and accuracy in the design process
show respect towards the consumer.
LAB
In addition to client work, we also develope our own projects,
including designing and publishing books, special merchandise
and unpredictable cool secret stuff. A kind of laboratory. In order to
remark and promote this idea we included it in the name.
