The document outlines the multi-step process used to clean area rugs. Rugs are first inspected for imperfections and stains. They are then tested to determine the best cleaning method and vacuumed on both sides. Conditioner is worked into the rug before it is submerged in a cleaning pool and shampooed twice. 1. Upon arrival all area rugs are thoroughly
inspected for imperfections and stains by
our Certified Master Rug Cleaner

2. All area rugs are then tested for color
fastness and to determine the best
cleaning method for each individual rug

3. Rugs are placed on grates. The top of
the area rug is vacuumed twice
with a commercial grade vacuum

4. The area rug is then turned over and the
back of rug is dusted with a Rug Badger
which sends harmonic vibrations through
the rug displacing all the embedded dirt

5. The back of area rug is then dusted with the
Rug Badger a second time in the opposite
direction insuring all the embedded dirt is
displaced

6. Upon removal of the grate it is evident that
a large amount of embedded dirt remains in
an area rug that is not dusted properly

7. All stains are identified and worked
on individually by our Certified
Master Rug Cleaner

8. Area rugs are pre conditioned prior
to cleaning

9. The conditioner is then worked into
the area rug.

10. After allowing time for the conditioner
to work, the area rug is then fully
submerged in our cleaning pool

11. Our water filtration system insures
the cleanest bath possible

12. The top of the area rug is then
thoroughly shampooed, then turned
over and the back of the area rug is
thoroughly shampooed as well. This
process is completed twice.

13. Centri- Maxx automated extractor

14. The area rug is then inserted in the
Centri-Maxx for extraction

15. The area rug is flushed with fresh water until a
clear rinse is visible. The Centri-Maxx will extract
until 97% of water is removed

16. The area rug is then brushed to
groom the nap

17. The area rug is then placed on our
drying table to dry the area rug from
the bottom to the top to insure the
finest product

18. Each area rug can be blocked to
insure the exact dimensions of the
rug

19. All fringes on the area rugs will be
cleaned and hand manicured by our
Certified Master Rug Cleaner

20. All area rugs are laid out under bright
lights for final inspection

21. Upon completion each area rug will be
packaged individually

22. Our special soaking pool will insure the
removal of any deep seeded odors such
as smoke or pet urine from Area rugs
