This document provides an overview of the Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) certification. It describes the eligibility requirements, target audience, knowledge areas covered in the certification exam, and tips for preparing for and taking the exam. The ECBA is IIBA's entry-level certification that recognizes basic competency in business analysis. It is intended for individuals entering the BA profession or transitioning careers. The 50 question, 1.5 hour exam focuses on knowledge of IIBA's Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK). Passing the exam requires a high school education and 21 hours of BABOK-related coursework in the last 4 years.
