TrackStar 4Teachers is an online resource where a teacher can
post lessons or a series of lessons that children can work
through independently to help them with skills.
Why Use a TrackStar 4Teachers:
• Help students work independently or collaboratively using
technology
• Help individualize instruction for students or a group of
students
• Grab Students Attention
• Engaging for the students
• Can work on specific skills in this case reading
comprehension

9. How to find Websites and Copy URLs
• Go on the internet and using the search
engines search for activities that support the
learning needs you are planning for (don’t forget to
bookmark the sites for easy retrieval later on or you may copy and paste
the web addresses into a word document for easy retrieval)
• To copy a URL :in the address bar highlight the
URL and then right click on it and copy it

Lesson
• Go to the TrackStar 4Teachers Website (it is
bookmarked on the computer you are currently
working on or the web address is located on the
resource page)
• Take the TrackStar Tutorial for Practice
• Create an account for yourself (it is free)
• Click on Make New Track
• Answer the Questions and follow the steps (make sure
you copy and paste the URL’s so they are accurate )
• You have created your first TrackStar Lesson
11. Your Turn:
Create a TrackStar 4Teachers Lesson
• Go to Website (it is bookmarked on your computer)
• If you have not already done so Create an account
• Topic: choose a topic or need for your students (idea
use the new Reading series as a starting point)
• Search the internet for websites that you would like to
use for your lesson (bookmark these sites so that you
can return to them easily while setting up your lesson
• Get started creating your track.
