This document provides guidance on using library databases to research integrated marketing communications and sales strategies. It outlines four key things to know: 1) How to find articles using subject guides and databases; 2) How to request full-text articles when only an abstract is available; 3) How to use Google Scholar from the library's database list; and 4) How to use the online catalog to request books for delivery to the Edwards Campus. The document then demonstrates searching two marketing databases and reviewing results.
3. We need to know this:
(1)Find articles using databases (found in subject guides
and at the bottom of the Libraries’ homepage –
www.lib.ku.edu)
(2)How to request full text articles if we find only abstracts (
WebRetrieve)
(3)How to use Google Scholar from the list of library
databases
(4)How to use the online catalog to find books and request
delivery to Edwards Campus
